We took a weekend to visit the beach and see one of the oldest Roman Catholic churches on the coast near Mozambique Island.

It's been there since the 1500's.

It's no longer brass or bronze, but painted wood, so we can still imagine the day...

The youth group visited an orphanage here in Nampula. Most kids on Mozambique have family who will care for them, but a few don't, especially in the city.
